[Dems2008] fwiw: poll in another group

• I run a 3400-member Yahoo group that has nothing to do with politics, and where we never discuss politics
• if I had to generalize, I'd say the membership tends toward the conservative side
• Just for the heck of it, I ran a running poll (still open) on presidential candidate choices (as of the five that were remaining when we opened the poll)
• 45% selected McCain (which tells me it's a slightly conservative group
• But Obama is two-to-one over Clinton:  35% to 17%
