[Dems2008] The perfect is the enemy of the very good

• Just my two cents, but it's strange to me that there are such strongly held NEGATIVE views about either of our two candidates
• In any other year, I would be supporting Hillary.   This year, I support Obama, but I struggled to reach that point and to resolve that choice
• I'm very very proud that it is my party that may put the first woman in the White House (tho a candidate's gender is irrelevant to me), and I am very very proud that it is my party that may put the first African American into the White House (though race is similarly irrelevant to me).
• I have more difficulties with Hillary than I do with Obama. I've chosen Obama.
• But, as I've said, our WORST candidate is LEAGUES ahead of anyone the GOP has offered, at any time this year or in years in memory.
• As I say, I can't understand the STRONG NEGATIVES that any of our members bears toward either of our candidates.  We are sooooooo superior to the GOP this year, and we should be relishing that fact.
