- Pappy, comparing Chicago's crime stats to the "national" averages is a bit disingenuous. The "national" stats include a lot of villages and small towns were there is maybe one murder every three years
- That said, to expect an Illinois legislator or a first-term U.S. senator to have any connection to the rise or fall of murder and vehicle theft statistics in a single city in his state is a bit of a stretch, don't you reckon?
- There's plenty with which to criticize Obama, and there are legitimate questions to be asked about whether he fulfills the requisites for being president of the United States. Your crime statistics are not among those.
