[Dems2008] Re: From the mouth of a Republican

Thanks; I've had a lifetime-full of conservative Republican crap:

• I'm as patriotic as any conservative Republican
• I believe in the Bill of Rights, and think every civil right guaranteed there should be preserved
• I laud the founders who crafted the Constitution
• I loathe deficit-spending that spirals out of control everytime a Republican president and Congress get together
• I believe in monogamy
• I don't want excessive taxes collected
• I believe in protecting our shores, preserving an effective military, and doing all things rational to pre-empt another September 11
• I believe in the family and it's role in teaching youth role models and morality
• I believe in the free exercise of religion
• I share the view that we should not thoughtlessly involve ourselves in the internal affairs of other sovereign nations
• I believe in preserving industries that are essential to our national security
• I'm a veteran
• I'm pro-law enforcement
• I'm a liberal Democrat who has nothing whatever to apologize for to any conservative Republican; my party offers two alternatives this year who trump the best the GOP can come up with on their best day
