Thx, of course, I later amended point #5 to read as follows: 

  • There is no right to which you, me or my wife is entitled and to which a gay or lesbian person is NOT entitled
  • Save for things that are uniquely or physically the province of a particular minority  (e.g. reproductive rights belong in my view only to women) I don't like talk of women's rights, gay rights, black's rights, etc., etc.   

    There are only human rights and civil rights to which all persons are equally entitled; to  ompartmentalize those rights by reference to a class or a category undermines the right itself.
