[Dems2008] Re: Moderates considering McCain?

Carol, I have to say that was one of the cruelest things I've heard
recently. Have you ever held a starving four year old in your arms --
light enough because he weighs what an 18-month old weighs? I bet not.

The 77 yr old teacher in that country is a native of her country, and
uses only HER OWN money (and retirement) to feed these kids. We gave
her $1000, but that was out of our own pocket. A church in Tennessee
gave her $1000 in November, but that was not tax money. My Peace
Corps daughter is paid $100 a month, so you're not missing a lot of
your precious tax money to support her in a lavish lifestyle.

Sheeeeesh!!
