should have learned in 2000. The Nader campaign in 2000 that arguably
resulted in this mess was a walkout by the left wing. While after
Bradley failed to get the nomination I did not walk out I know alot of
those who did and respect them for their convictions. There are a
number of us who do not think of Clinton's presidency all that fondly,
and feel quite bluntly that the Democratic Party establishment has
blurred the lines between us and the Republicans. Regardless of who
the nominee is, he or she would be well to listen to the lessons of
2000. This is NOT going to be a coronation. The Democratic candidate
will not automatically be elected, and to get elected should not take
for granted the young left wing that should be our core.
