don't want any of these candidates to be viewed as a messiah.
Doesn't it bother you when thousands of people chant "yes we can!!!",
without knowing why they are chanting?
This sort of blank check hero worship has consistently created
disasters throughout history.
Those who have disagreed with my post are confusing the issue- I'm
not upset because Hillary hasn't created the mass hysteria that Obama
can produce by simply speaking in a crowded auditorium. I'm
frustrated that the Obama campaign is riding the wave of the ignorant
masses who want to feel good.
This isn't a football game, it's not my team v. your team- and I'm
honestly sick of these posts that pit "hillites" v. the Obama clan.
Do you think that Obama can be elected without the support of those
who currently support Clinton? A divided Democratic party will lose-
this further speaks to my point that the Obama nation feels
invincable.
ps - I have to laugh when you say that Americans don't have time to
read the policies of each candidate- the avg. american spends hours
every week watching mind numbing sitcoms- they have time to read the
literature available on each candidate. They simply choose not to
research these issues.

a campaign based on the fact that some minute part of her health care
plan is slightly different that Barack's. People don't look at the
fine points because they don't have time to. They want grand ideas.
They want to believe in the candidate. They hear Obama say "Yes, we
can!" and they believe that we can. They hear Obama talk about
having hope and they feel it.
