[Dems2008] Re: Texas's 7 largest newspapers ALL endorse Obama

worldpeace, have to agree: what has made me a Democrat for more than 50
years is not a particular person or candidate, but my sharing my party's
basic values. And in an election as important as the one this fall --
which to my mind is IMMENSE -- I don't think one can sit out a vote for
Obama or Clinton and at the same time claim to be a person truly
committed to Democratic principles.

Another four years of a republican in the White House would compound a
seven-year old disaster, and correcting that is far more important than
EITHER of these candidates.

No, I am not a Clinton supporter, and I fervently believe Obama is our
superior candidate. But I now have no question at all on the issue of
whether I will vote for her if she is the nominee.

Yes, I will; this election is too important, and more important than
either of these candidates.
