[Dems2008] This Muslim thing

• Are we not better than those who fail to distinguish between those who practice a 1200-year old religion that derived in large part from Christianity
• AND
• a bunch of lunatic terrorists who PRETEND to be followers of Islam?
• Playing the dumb religion card is as offensive as playing the race or gender cards.   I know practicing Muslims who have lived in this country for 20 or more years, are as patriotic as anyone on this board, and who bear as much resemblance to fundamentalist Middle Eastern terrorists as I do to Robert Redford.
