I had respect for McCain... but didn't he get lucky in VietNam?
He was a drunk pilot. He drank and crashed planes.
Once he crashed and was captured, he handled it as well as possible.
None of that makes him capable of deciding what to eat for breakfast,
let alone any military or domestic decision.
Since I can not respect a drunk that gets lucky, I can only respect
that he has been in a good position in some issues. Then.. he sells
out to the right on anything, so there goes those positions.
