Well, it is stupid for a Dem to vote for Republican.  So if need be, I will simply write in Hillary's name.  I cannot vote for a man that I do not believe in.  I have a terrible feeling about Obama. 

So... I have compromised, for the moment.....

Respectfully, Julie (and I admit that our party is large enough as a tent to include all sorts of diverse views) I find it hard to believe that a practicing Democrat could vote for McCain this fall.   The health of millions of children, lives as yet unlost in Iraq, a woman's right to choose, the future of civil rights (the Supreme Court), and a half dozen other important issues turns on whether or not a Democrat enters the White House in January.

On their WORST day, the LEAST of our candidates trumps McCain by incalculable distances.

I recognize that you believe it is STUPID to have Obama as our nominee.   I encourage you to look past that view (with which I am in total disagreement) and remember what we stand for as a party, as contrasted with what the GOP stands for.  Those things are  far bigger than Clinton, Obama, or McCain as an individual.
