Personally , I find it troubling that Obama doesn't do as well w/core democrats,women of all races , other minorities(specifically latinos & asians , and people that earn less than  $50 K . In addition he still lacks the endorsement of the King family and those who were closest to Dr.King . How would the reverse play if it were the case . Rich , white males rarely flock to potential social change and yet we are assured change is the soul of this movement .

The divide between two candidates that so polarize Dems should surprise nobody . Earlier the media kept asking "why are blacks slow to rally around Obama?" . I thought to myself the answer to that racist question was , maybe they need more specific reasons to support him other than race . The fact that the media thumped that question out on a daily basis showed the state of our tv journalists

Despite the fact that I've been accused of lies and innuendo , most of you know better . Many in the group refuse to identify racist comments in favor of Obama . Racism does not excuse or combat further racism . Or sexism . What of the "claws coming out" comment earlier ? The "black enough" comment and now the "pimp" comment will be swept under the rug also . You know that I don't drink Hillary koolaid , and if I were racist I would be so against members of my own extended family . Dr.King's words still live but they are misunderstood and turned into a 1-dimensional idea now that his counsel we do not have . I have been to multiple campaign stops both this year and last year . I've seen first hand stumping by Michelle Obama that is so race-based , the media won't touch it . What kind of presidency does it predict when some racism is ignored , while language is twisted and controlled . People are being shouted down and coerced at caucus . Sexism is the subject of humor . I liken it to the way right wing zealots have sometimes shouted "baby killer" at me .  I'm not imploring anybody to change thier mind about anything . I'm speaking my mind . In conclusion I'd ask anyone interested to indeed look at the map of 2004 , but don't stop there....go back further . The presidency can and has been won w/o Tennessee , but check the books for the last time it happened .

By the way our greatest president never saw the

Cliff, perhaps I am stupid, at least relatively. Obama was president of
the Harvard Law Review. I only made the waiting list at Harvard Law,
and did not get in.

How do you account for Barack's overwhelming lead among the better
educated?
