Clinton: 'We Have to Win'

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. -- Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has been careful about not predicting what will happen three days from now, aware that the world is watching to see whether she stays in the race or drops out. But at a fundraiser here, she told donors that winning is imperative. "We have to win on Tuesday," Clinton said. "That's not a surprise to any of you."

Clinton started her day in South Texas, then flew to Fort Worth for events there and in Dallas before heading back to more promising terrain in Ohio on Saturday night. She put on a sunny face on the campaign plane, displaying an interest in learning how to roll oranges down the center aisle during takeoff, a longstanding antic in campaigns. She challenged Sen. Barack Obama on national security, returning to her thematic roots after more than a year on the campaign trail and nearly two months since voting began. Clinton is closing out this phase of her campaign with a "3 a.m." argument -- that only she is qualified to answer the phone in the White House at that hour when crisis strikes.
