[Dems2008] Re: E.J. Dionne, Jr. -- The Last "Yes, We Can" Candidate

Eric, if you had read the article, you would have observed that it was
about the OPPONENTS of Reagan; Dionne draws a parallel between the
liberals who were dismissive of Reagan's optimism/hope thing and those
who today are similarly dismissive of another candidate whose election
could amount to a sea change.

Even those of us who think Reagan and all of his administration was a
lasting disaster recognize that his election and the Era ushered in a
material change in the public's appetite.
