[Dems2008] Re: Ferraro Silly Statements Keep Coming

yes, we already know that independents will go to McCain rather than
Hillary, and her sanctioning racist speech will drive African-
Americans, progressive youth, energized and principled college
students away in droves.

In fact, since McCain is more liberal on immigration issues than
Clinton, the racism could even drive away some of her Latino/Hispanic
vote......which previously has had a substantial draw to the GOP
anyway.

I have a professional daughter (the most liberal person in the family
actually) who three years ago said she would quit her job to campaign
for Hillary if Hillary got the nomination this year. She has
independently become an Obama supporter, and has independently shared
with me her view that she will sit out in protest if Hillary is the
nominee. She's not alone.
