I like baseball and every season is going to be the Indians year. This
year they look great... I love grocery shopping. I love sitting and
watching highschool football, even if the local high school looses. I
love to cook and garden. Both are sheer acts of optimism. I am 42 and
have returned to school to change my career... total optimism there.
That being said, I am willing to recognize a disaster in the making. I
wish I had the Hillary supporters blind optimism. We will negotiate a
nomination, no one will get mad, we will all hug united and stronger
than ever.
Lets face facts. Most Hillary supporters think she can win this
nomination without a floor fight. Thats not optimism thats ignorance.
Fact is she can not win with elected delegates. Period. So she HAS to
take this unresolved into the convention.
What does that mean... that means this will continue on and on for
MONTHS. Through the summer. The endless bashing and bloodletting and
the nastiness. With no end in sight. All the while the party coffers
empty and our advantage dissapears.
What does a floor fight mean... disillusion, great we managed to
alienate all but our core.
Continuation of the red state stupidity. Ummm guys... unless we win a
few red states we will loose again. But none of that matters as long
as Hillary is given the nomination she deserves.
