watched Geo. Wallace stand in that door at the Univ. of Alabama, I am
pleased to see that I've lived to the point where an African American is
a viable candidate for the presidency.
Actually, as one who worried 30 yrs ago that my daughters would be
treated as less than equal citizens of their world, I'm rather proud to
have lived to see the day when a woman is a viable candidate for the
presidency.
Evidence to the contrary notwithstanding (e.g. Rush Limbaugh), we have
evolved.
