[Dems2008] Re: One angry race not happy with a black candidate

Read General Grant's memoirs; he was active and ranking in the
Mexican-American War, and outspoken in his view that it was a trumped
up war for territory. Actually, the Texas territory was slaveholding
whereas Mexico was anti-slavery; and the grab for land was to add
additional slaveholding acreage to the Union.
