[Dems2008] Re: Remember why we have delegates in place

Nothing apology here. The McGovern-Fraser Commission sought to
eliminate what they saw as local corruption (realy labor control of
state parties), and replace it with rules promoting primaries but also
subject to their particualar social agenda, along with enough control
from the "smart people" (my quote not theirs) in the party upper
echelon. Again, increasing the control of the intelectual left. I'm not
saying that the intelectal left don't have some good ideas. I'm saying
many of them are not shared by the blue coller Americans who were
previously the backbone of this party.
