[Dems2008] Re: Who's hoodwinking who?

Cas - I have said it many times in this group, I will vote for Hillary if she wins the
nomination, but i am obama supporter. Hillary has just been making it harder and harder.
She keeps saying she wants to talk about issues and then attacks and insults Obama and
his over 13 million supporters. He is ahead in the poular vote and has won the most
states, even some big states. Even Hillary has admitted that texas probably will not be in
play for the democrats(and Obama actually won the most delegates), as it is a pretty
republican state. Of course people are gonna fight back and i'm not gonna silence my
voice so that Hillary can steal the election from the front runner, thats just silly talk.

I couldn't tell you the political science behind why Clinton voters will vote for Obama, put
the polls show Obama beating McCain by much larger margins than hillary. Again, I am
not a political scientist.

I would love it if the party could be united and focus on McCain, but that isn't gonna
happen until we have a nominee, reality folks. Unfortunately, on Hillary's quest for the
nomination, she is willing to divide the party with a scorched earth policy and embellish (a
kind word for liar) her foreign policy.

Suzi - by your logic, all of the white people that have ever voted for a white candidate are
racists. Yes, 9 out of 10 african americans voted for obama, and yes it was in part because
of the color of his skin, that doesn't make them racists...there has not been a serious
african american running for president ever, a candidate that has captured the minds of
black and white people, a front runner who has won the popular vote, the mopst
delegates and the most states thus far in the primary. Now Ferraro and formerly bill
Clinton, want to reduce the campaign to "he wouldn't be where he is unless he was african
american".

Like i said, hillary is making it harder and harder. You can defend the race baiting
comments or you send your candidate an email and tell her that you don't support those
kind of tactics. i know I'll be sending her an email, along with your favorite buddy dean. i'll
make sure i post a copy of the letter after i send it. stayed tuned....

anytime you have over 90% of any demographic voting for the same person, you have
people voting for reasons other than the important ones. Color is a reason to buy a purse
or a shirt, not a reason to vote for a person! It is absolutely racist to do so. Racism goes
both ways and don't forget it as we will ALL be paying for this mistake soon if you don't.
