breaks and preferential dividends treatment. If I were king of the
world, I would DENY in toto retiree social security benefits to persons
at my income level, and in fact I would set a means-tested ceiling on
receipt of social security by all.
Moreover, I would cap the home mortgage interest deduction (which still
benefits me) and I would cap the deduction for real estate taxes (which
still benefits me).
I believe in a steep progressive income rate structure. I did 40 years
ago when my wife and I started out with $78 and a '63 Chevy to our
names, and I do now.
