I think that Richardson's endorsement was his way of trying to get the supers on board to end this thing before the dems give the election to McCain. The only way for McCain to win this thing is if democrats splinter and self-destruct.
Particularly in the western states, democrats in positions of power feel that Hillary would be just the impetus disaffected republicans need to move to McCain. They expect that Obama's coattails are longer and they need that to get us back in control of congress. We all need that.
Additionally, if blacks and young voters especially feel that supers "take" this election, they will desert in droves. Black voters are statistically our strongest bloc of voters. We cannot win a national election without our base. Newly energized young voters will be turned off to the process again, probably for a very long time to come. Of course, there are Hillary supporters who will not vote for Obama but I don't think that they can claim that the election was stolen from them.
There are many, like myself, who will always support the democratic nominee. The danger of not doing so is too great. And with regard to the court in particular, it will be devastating for much longer than one or two election cycles.
I doubt that Edwards will emdorse. Especially after his Iowa caucus delegates went for Obama. I think a Clinton endorsement would ruin any hopes of a political future for Edwards.
And with it looking clearer every day that this thing will end with Obama as the party's nominee, it would make less than no sense for him to endorse the losing candidate if he is looking for a spot in the next administration. Self interest will prevail.
And I urge all democrats to think of our interests as a party and for the future of this country. We can disagree but to paraphrase Sen. Obama we need to stop being disagreeable before it is too late.

Edwards has probably decided that also.
