years (or more), or whether we leave and let it become a territory of
Iran, the US broke it, and we will own the consequences in every honest
history text written thereafter. I have rarely seen any US interference
in the affairs of another nation that has worked out the way it was
planned. We arm the rebels, they win, they turn against the US. That's
the story over and over. I do believe we would do better to leave other
people alone and concentrate on educating our own population so that we
no longer have presidential candidates who don't know the difference
between Sunni and Shi'a. Carol
