You just lost the atheist and agnostic voters.
This speech was the about the political rhetoric and fear of the Catholic Church that John Kennedy was combating and this speech was given to a group of Protestant Preachers. We have not come that far.
We do not need a President that feels this country is ordained by God. While I am religious, I do not feel that my beliefs should be forced on anyone else. The government does not belong in my church nor vise versa. If Obama came out and said I am going to let every decision I make for this country be given to me by God, I would be running the other way from him. We are not electing his church, we are electing him.
There are plenty of white preachers who have given the same cry of the Damnation of God on this country because of it's actions and they have not been ridden out on a rail as you claimed in another post. Their churches are just as huge and flourishing as Rev. Wright's former church. Texas seems to be the mecca of Religious right wingers.

Oh, B.S.!! Good try ras, but religion is not the problem we have with B.O. It is the political rhetoric, the America bashing, within his church we don't approve of. That is a totally different thing. Cries of God Damn America are not considered religious unless of course, you are talking about Jihad!!!!!!! We NEED a president who feels America is ordained by God, not damned by God! I don't know who people can keep missing this very obvious and most crucial point.
