I honestly didn't care for her response to it being pointed out to her that her version was off. Basically, Saying she made a rare error, Hillary Clinton repeated Tuesday that she "misspoke." Really? A rare error?
"I have written about this and described in many different settings and I did misspeak the other day," Clinton said during a live 10-minute interview. "This has been a very long campaign.
Last week for the first time in 12 years or so, I misspoke."
"I made a mistake and, you know, I had a different memory," she said at a news conference after a rally here. "It proves I'm human, which for some people is a revelation."
When a reporter asked her about the 12yr comment she tried to say she didn't say it at first and when they persisted she got a little testy and said "I was joking, gosh, lighten up guys.'' `I say a lot of things -- millions of words a day -- so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement.''
So to me she still can't admit when she is wrong period.

'Misspoke' is a euphemism for 'lied'. I love it when these politicians, like Sen. Clinton, lie or hyperbolize, then are caught, and then have to explain themselves. They can't say, 'I made up the whole thing'. So, they use 'misspoke'. The sad thing is that the Democrats are acting a whole lot like Republicans. If the convention is a disaster, I am sitting out the general election. The Democrats should not win by out-Republicaning the Republicans.I Am Big Woman.
