Goodwin, who wrote "Team Of Rivals" and also books on

Roosevelt, The Kennedy's and Johnson.  She use to work

for Johnson I think.  Anyway I love her writing.------Nan

I'm listening to Tim Russert on MSNBC, talking to Doris Kearns. She's
talking about Obama's inability so far to connect with the blue collar
gang, and how he's going to have to translate the message of hope into
concrete examples of what he can/will/wants to do for them. This is
apparently the one demographic he has so far failed to connect with. I
hope someone on his staff took the time to hear what she said.
