Re: [Dems2008] Re: Ferraro Silly Statements Keep Coming

That sounds about right, I was working for Kerry's
campaign here and on the last day to register new
voters, I went to the headquarters to help and it was
locked and all these college kids were waiting to get
in. It's so frustrating I don't know how much I will
even do this time. By law, we were supposed to have
the Senate race yesterday, but the governor filed a
lawsuit, which of course he won, and had it moved to
November. He knows they would have lost the seat in
March but thinks they can win in November. I thought
if Obama was the nominee maybe enough people would
turn out to get a democratic senator, or enough women
would vote for her because a lot of republican women
honestly can't stand McCain, but I'm afraid if this
race baiting doesn't stop, at some point white
democrats will even vote for McCain or stay at home
and McCain will pick a VP that the republicans who
would have stayed home can justify as a reason to vote
for him. He seems to have a really high aproval ratin
from the republicans who voted yesterday. We need to
get this done and get back in debates and I don't see
why Howard Dean and the heavyweights in the party
can't sit them down and force them to work this thing
out.
