Yes, Hil is where she is because she's a woman and the wife of an ex-President. Barak is where he is because he's Black and an eloquent speaker. But, he isn't too Black. That's important. He is not a grievance Negro like Jesse J. and Al S. and Andy Y. and all the old civil rights era Blacks. None of them ever had a chance at the Presidency. Do you notice, he does not play the grievance card? He never talks about redressing past wrongs, racism, and all that. He has a pleasant voice that doesn't sound too 'Black'. His skin is light brown. His features are sort of half Black, half Caucasian (as is his heritage). All this is why he has a shot at being elected President.Kar

Of course Ferraro isn't a racist, but what she said was intended to
force the Obama camp to throw out the race card, b/c we know how much
White people hate that. Look, what she said was politically
motivated and although she isn't a racist she just did what the Dems
have been doing for years only in reverse. The Dems have always
painted the Reps as racist to motivate Blacks to the polls in their
favor and now their trying it the other way around.
If you believe what she said was true, then Hillary is where she is
b/c she is a woman. It can't go one way and not the other...as Ms.
Ferraro pointed out. However her statements are part of a larger
problem...a problem that feminists have had for quite a while. They
cannot reconcile any issue with the issue of sex. I've tried to
support these groups but they don't understand that for some of us,
it's not just about sex.
And for the record, Obama would probably have an easier time if he
were a woman b/c it is far easier for a Black woman to succeed than
it is for a Black man b/c of the stigma attached to Black men. She's
FREE to say whatever she likes, just as everyone else is FREE to
comment on what she says. It's ok for her to make racist remarks, but
NOT ok to get called on it? who needs to grow up now???
