Re: [Dems2008] Re: Jeremiah Wright is as bad as Ferraro?

The good Rev. Wright has a really dramatic way of making his point. And
I can see the point, even tho I don't like the way he delivers his
message. But he is not completely wrong in his opinions. This country
does interfere in other countries' internal affairs to an alarming
degree. The US is an Imperial Power, thinking we can impose democracy
from outside, from top down (it doesn't work that way). Never doing the
homework necessary to understand other cultures, even minority cultures
in our own country. I can't fault everything he has said, but I do
fault the way it is said. I agree it is bothersome that Obama has
spent 20 years in that church, and if he is the nominee its going to
provide a heck of a lot of fodder for the McCain campaign. Carol
