RE: [Dems2008] Re: Obama expecting Victory!

I should get a response and I have tried calming people's fears and those that I Know re: Obama for what I can.  I guess that I am really asking for amo.  In reference to candidate, I support Hillary but realize that the probability at this time is Obama.  However there are negatives I have encountered from people who are either opposed or have info that I am not aware of that they bring up re: Obama and I do not know how to answer.

By bringing these points up here I was hoping that someone could point out references that I could use to counter various arguments.  In reference to the name calling, that was in reference to a tennessee congressman that McCain admonished.

I did not mention Hillary's weak points because for me, my florida primary is over, Wisconsin is over, and barring a misstep by obama which is not likely or something unforseen, I expect Obama to win and why beat a subject to death?  What is done is done.  The final outcome is only a matter of when not if.  As far as the word liberal, I say to people that I am a liberal even though I personally feel that I am a moderate leaning to liberal.  I hate the word connotations that people like rush lumbough use with liberal..........I do wonder why we have let the word Conservative alone.  Anyways, if enough people use the word liberal to describe themselves, maybe through repetition, it won't be so bad a word.  Progressive?  semantics.  I prefer to say it straight out.

Too funny you complain out pitching candidates... then you follow that
with this:

But whichever side does, the numbers are significant on either side
that whoever does win will need everyone's help in electing our
democrat over McCain. You think McCain isn't going to swiftboat; well
neither did George Bush. Others did that for him leaving him to go
the high road. and outside of the nasty word "Liberal" which I use
quite liberally with myself...Liberal
.....Liberal.........Liberal........how about big spending
programs................... or a new one particular to this
campaign..............barak HEUSSAIN OBAMA as one congressperson from
Tennessee is throwing around. The fear tactics that have people
asking about Obama's Musilim background is still going around despite
the efforts to refute it, Obama's associations with a christian
church, and others calling for Israel's destruction leaves quite a few
americans bewildered at Obama as the Democrats most likely choice.
They don't want McCain but see that Obama may be even a worse choice.
We should be looking for a way to ease the public's mind about his
religious views and his associations with known bigots. If this is
not appropriately answered, there will be Democrats who either don't
vote or vote for Someone they really don't want like McCain.

HOW many times did you mention Clinton's weaknesses? Please do not be
so insulting as to thing you can play like "I just want us all to get
along" and then toast a candidate in the next breath.

To answer your question: I wonder why we aren't trying to heal the
party rather than further divide us up at this late time.

The answer is in your own post. Do you honestly expect that you will
not get a response to this.
