I don't think this makes sense.

Orchestrating a mean winning campaign makes sense.

Orchestrating a massive blunder does not.

I think her problem since the beginning is she is seldom her best and
often reacting in panic instead of saying all the smart things that are
stuck somewhere in her head behind the "I must win" panic.
