[Dems2008] A conversion

Wife was at a county-wide meeting of chairs today, sat next to a guy who said that three months ago he had a Hillary bumper sticker, but that he has been so turned off by her "dishonesty" (his term) that during last night's debate he turned the channel every time it came time for her answer to a question.   Says he cannot stomach listening to someone so false and shallow.

 

I was a Hillary supporter three months ago, too.   Always have had problems with her integrity issues and honesty challenges - we tend to marry persons with qualities that we admire, and I've known  for 18 years that Bill lacks a moral compass, and has little familiarity with honesty as a virtue -- but in my desperation to see the Dems win this fall I guess I was willing to lower my standards.
