[Dems2008] No one can forget the double standard of N.O.W.

National Organization of Women came vocally to Bill Clinton's defense
at a time when his conduct as CEO of the country was such that, if he
were head of a Fortune 500 company, he would have been dismissed
immediately from his post.

We knew then, and we know now, that NOW's doing so had nothing to do
with Bill and everything to do with Hillary. Her appeal in an eventual
run for the presidency (which was a topic of conversation in the 90s as
well) depended from NOW's perspective on her "strength" in the face of
her "victimhood."

Shame on all of them.
