problem is the media which needed a clear cut winner early and not
able to get one desicive enough created a muddled situation.
Ummmm. No I am not happy but its not because of the media. To be
honest I have little time for any sort of media news, can't stand the
talking heads of any ilk. I will catch Colbert occasionally, but I
don't watch TV. Olbermann gives me a headache and even for John
Stewart I have a limited tolerance. Its not the media that wanted this
resolved its me... why? because tearing each other apart in the
primary is not going to get anyone elected. Wastes time and wastes
money. Burns out the staffs. Its just plain bad business.
>>> We had a lot of better candidates than we have now. but now we
are stuck having to make the best of a bad choice.
It didn't have to be a bad choice. Its become that. We are all tired
of an endless mess with no resolution. Its like a game of monopoly.
Sure its fun to begin with but at a certain point you want it over.
>>>> Both will not have the votes for a first ballot, it may come to
a second or third.
Nah this puppy is over. Has been for a long time. Hillary will close
the race about where she is now. The super delegates will follow the
Democratic Leadership. The winner of the delegate count will win it
all, and that all, is Obama. Hillary can not catch him and no one buys
the big blue state theory, or any of the other crazy mathmatics. She
will eeek a win in Pa, get slaughtered in NC. Total gain for Hillary
maybe 6 delegates. Then Indiana will be the big test... etc etc etc At
first I though she would have a shred of dignity left and drop before
NC, but now I am doubting it. The question is whether she will fight
this to the bloody end and destroy the convention. At first I didn't
think she was crazy enough to do it... now I am not so sure.
>>>>> But i have pledged that I will support Obama if he is the one
because McCain is like voting for Bush. I am not happy with some
stuff said by Hillary. But while there are some differences, they are
more alike on the issues than different. There is a difference in
style obviously. But with all her faults she is still a better choice
than McCain and I hope you will come to support Hillary should she be
the one.
I saw this country move further to the right under clinton than it did
under Reagan. Hillary's Guns, God, and Race appeal to the populist
vote was just too strange for words. Much of what she is saying is
muddled at this point. But its been there for awhile, now its just
condensed. Flag Burning? I have gone through a series of emotions
ranging from ambivalence to respect to disgust with regards to
Hillary. Right now I think I can see Roberts Reich's point. Reich sad
sometimes he was proud of what they accomplished, but four out of
seven days he wakes up thinking what a damn waste. Now when I see
Clinton I just sort of get sad. There is something that seems broken.
Its like watching a puppy with a broke leg chasing after its master
who left it at the side of the road.
But wounded dogs bite...
>>>>> I am personally persuaded that McCain will complete Bush's task
economically here and militarily in Iraq.
McCain is better than Bush. Heck almost any of the candidates minus
crazy Gravel and the evil trio of republicans would have been better
than Bush.
> We cannot afford more of the same and while it won't possibly be
dynamic in your eyes, we won't necessarily have a warmonger in office
either or one to add more to our trillion dollar deficits.

I agree to an extent. But, I want to have some pride in my vote this
November. Obama is an average Democrat who can deliever a great
speech. Hillary however has crossed some lines. She crossed mine a
while back, but now ... well to be honest there is something not right
there. Maybe its fatigue. Pressure? Maybe I am being paranoid. But
seriously... some gears seem to be slipping a bit.
