stop them.
The subject was guns but I am with you totally on the non lethal
weapons. In fact we just saw a story on one of the network news
programs that showed a new non lethal weapon available to the
military. It looked kind of like a small cannon mounted on a truck.
They called it a ray-gun. It had an amazing range. It gave kind of
a hot electrical shock and would stop if you stepped out of the ray.
It was fascinating how easily they controlled large mobs of people.
They said they thought it would be perfect for mob control is places
like Iraq but our military just did not want to think "non-lethal".
Sad isn't it?
I take a gun with me when I go into the mountains or to our secluded
cabin. I hope I never have a need for it but I also know my stun gun
is not much use against a bear or other large predator.
