[Dems2008] Very sad, very absurd

If I heard correctly TWELVE U.S. military have died since Sunday.
Well, today I watched a couple hours of the Patraeus/Crocker Comedy
Show on Capitol Hill, and tonight I watched news accounts and
interviews about same.

I turned to my wife at one point and just slammed my palm into my
forehead: is this not the most-absurd theatre we've ever seen. Is
this absurd war ever going to end? is anyone ever going to speak
the truth, stop the funding, and acknowledge that it's over, has been
over, isn't gonna' get any saner, and that it's time to bring 'em
home................NOW, RIGHT NOW?

I feel like I'm living in this absurd bottle filled with people
hallucinating on helium, speaking in weird doublespeak while life
after life after life after life is lost. This is nothing but total
craziness.

Am I missing something here? Is there a single sensible or rational
thing about this war?

Anyone? Anyone?
