[Dems2008] What makes us democrats

Is there enough glue of commonality for the titles Democrat and
Republican to make sense any more. Keeping in mind the republicans are
as fragmented as we are, maybe more so.

I am beginning to feel like soon there will have to be another huge
shift in the body politic. A Dealignment on a massive scale. There are
too many divergent ideas under the same tent.
