Re: [Dems2008] "The boys always wanted me to quit"

Even though what she said is probably true?  It is a boys
network out there, believe it or not.  I have my fingers
crossed Hillary can beat it and if not, at least let people
know there is a glass ceiling.
I did have to laugh when I heard Republicans suddenly
worried about Obama, they thought he would be the
easy one to beat now they are wishing they hadn't
crossed over to vote for him. Sometimes people get
what the deserve.-----------------Nan

I thought her remark was unseemly for a candidate for our highest
office; let's act like grownups. If you want to be president of the
United States, stop acting like you're out at recess, and the boy
bullies on the playground won't let you play dodge ball with them.

It is important that we reach the point where one's gender is no
obstacle to higher office (or any office); but stop playing this gender
thing.
