There are 118 Illinois House members and 59 Illinois Senate members... And they're supposed to allow enough money to archive everything from every member for how many years?

How much do you think that would cost?  Especially in a time when most states are running massive deficits and cutting funding for everything across the board?

They don't exist.

The Illinois state legislature doesn't have the funding to do the massive archiving that federal government has...

Why hasn't Obama released his Illinois Senate records?  They disappeared into a black hole somewhere.  Hmmmm.....
