Re: [Dems2008] How close does it need to be for Super delegates to overturn pledged?

no not riots but practicality. it is hypothetical but let us say that the first vote does not produce a clear winner. there is a second ballot and still no clear winner. a third vote occurs which releases all delegates to chose someone to run they think will win and unite people, someone who didn't enter the frey of Obama and Clinton and one people trust who is interested in serving his country. there are certain advantages here. they don't expect this possibility and all of a sudden they (the repubs) are caught off guard and has to change strategy. and Gore could put John Alzheimer McCain in his place through a debate on foreign affairs and show that Johnny is not fit to be Pres.
Gore has a stature at least in my mind that neither of the current candidates have. He Should be President.

Gore? You CanNOT be serious. The guy does not qualify as a candidate.
You want to see riots in the streets of every major city in this
country? Fine, go ahead. Overturn EVERY VOTE CAST and put Gore in the
nominee seat....Carol

I think you mean the question is moot (no longer relevant), not mute
(unable to speak), although the result may be the same.
