wars. We are always fighting the last one. As a nation we always seem
to vote against the last president, just as the military is always
fighting the last war. Since Clinton had a few personal ethics
problems, we vote for a reformed drunk who appears to be faithful to his
wife (one could say that he lacks imagination, but that may be too
cynical.) Carter's religiousness was the antidote to Nixon. Now, if we
are really looking for the antidote to Bush, we would unanimously elect
Obama - the intellect. Which would suggest that any president after
Obama would be another intellectual wasteland....Carol
