She told ricky she was almost sixteen the night they met...I met her a few weeks after this and she was over visiting and told me she was fourteen and please do not tell ricky...well I did and he ended it...they remained friends but she had troubles at home with her stepfather..so she was acting out..she and Ricky were dumb kids...I am jut thankful that some see the differences between teens and consensual sex and violent rapist and child molestors.:)

 

My grandma says if we go back to no statue of limitations mot of us be offenders..interesting thought as she married at age twelve.

Assuming the story of Ricky is true, then the girl lied both to the
"club" where he met her and to him. First I read that the girl was 13
and said she was 16. Then in another of the "poor Ricky" posts I read
that she said she was almost 16. No telling now what the truth is, but
I believe the girl lied. In those circumstances I think the girl should
have to take responsibility right along with the boy. If her parents
are outraged by the situation they need to be answerable for her
conduct. Why didn't they know where she was?

OTOH, the situation in Texas has not yet been addressed realistically by
any media or commenters that I have heard. That's a case of sexual
slavery hiding behind the convenient mask of some kind of religion.....Carol
