I agree, Nan.
I spent many months weighing the candidates. My first choice would have been Kucinich), but I knew Kucinich would not survive long enough to even get to vote for him in my primary. So, weighed the top 3 (Obama, Hillary and Edwards). I spent months "undecided".
Then only a short time before our primary, "a light went on" -- and that meant I saw the smoke -- smoke and mirrors -- I saw Obama was only blowing smoke over everyone -- and almost at the same time I saw his negativity.
That's when I made my decision to go with Hillary.
So, she has my support for now. And, she will keep it.
I will only relinquish that support IF after the convention she is not the nominee and Obama is OR someone else is the nominee.

Re: [Dems2008] Re: Clinton may be the one holding up counting Florida and Michigan
I am exactly the opposite I have been a Clinton fan since Bill's first days and when Hillary got into the senate race and when she first got into the presidencial race, but it was with what transpired with S. Carolina and onward that began to turn me off to HIllary but I was still with her, by the way I am from New York and have voted for her in the primary here. Then it was one thing on top of the other it became a death of a hundred strokes for me. As for Obama I have always liked him, still like Clinton, but now I feel Obama can unite our country and boy do we need it to succeed both domestically and in foreign affairs. Likelyhood is dems will not pick up 10 or 9 senate seats so we will need a level of bipartisan support I think Obama will be better at that.
