Re: [Dems2008] Re: how hard is it to grasp

Ras, you are so stuck on this.

Consider this - if the race ended now, the 29% of Hillary supporters that say they'd back McCain would solidify, because it wouldn't seem fair. Hillary has a more than decent chance of winning the majority of the remaining states.  Add in the Florida/Michigan fiasco (where our candidate at least won Florida, arguably Michigan) - I know you'll fight that but save it - that's how Clinton supporters feel - as though she got the shaft there.
Also, there IS a decent chance of more information coming out about Obama that would convince the superdelegates that he is not electable.

The result has to be seen as a bit more fair than it would be if the race were to end now.

The voters in the remaining primaries want to have their say and we
want them to as well.
So, GIVE IT UP MAN!  It'll be over when it's over.

That would make you unique amone Clinton supporters. Most are the same
that were unhappy about Bradley running. And maybe its a mentality I
can't understand I would be screaming for Obama to get out if the
situation were revered.

You described Hillary's chance as small... how small?

Thats another place we differ of course. I guess I see religion as a
personal choice. I also understand the origins of Black Liberation
Theology and see it as an important addition to the black community.
In fact what bothers me most about the Wright incident is that Hillary
kept hounding on the issue when she knows better. The saddest thing is
that she has forever damaged both her husbands and her image with
Black Americans for a handful of beans.
