Re: [Dems2008] Re: Little Off Topic

Brian,

the question is when you begin damage control- when there are possibilities to salvage something or when all the possibilities are gone. Your solution is stupid. By the time you get started, McCain may curtail your rights to the point that there would be nothing you could do. With the patriot act he could take you into custody for suspicion only, hold you for whatever time he wants without a lawyer, and nobody would hear from you again. Tell me what you would do then. Woops, I am sorry. you couldn't say because you would be gone. Or they could be coy about it and moniter you through your cell phone, home phone or office phone.........hmmmmmmm with techology these days they don't even need a phone to find out your activities......well, they could conscript you to fight in Iraq, you would agree I am sure. After all you prefer McCain, don't you. He'd love you for volunteering in this war. I hear it may go on another 10 -15 years. that would
suit you wouldn't it? Vote for him then........It would suit your interest.

I prefer to vote for one of the two democrats because either alternative would be better than this mental health care patient (McCain). I would hope for a third ballot at the convention so that maybe a better candidate can be encouraged to take center seat. but if it doesn't happen I will go for the winner of that convention. Maybe hope is not lost yet.

I hope McCain wins ... I'm in no way a fan of his and I'm a lifelong
Democrat and I would never vote for that piece of crap but why elect
a Democrat who will just inherit a huge broken disaster called
America. If either Obama or Clinton gets elected the Republicans are
just going to blame all the problems in the world on either of them.
At least if McCain gets elected and further ruins the country we then
will win over more people to our cause prove to them that we (The
Dems) are right and they (The Repubs) are wrong. Like I said before
things have to get a hell of a lot worst before they can start to get
better ... Americans have to get mad as hell before they'll get off
their fat asses and vote the right person to be President.
