Re: [Dems2008] Re: Media finally confirms Obama won Texas

Obama and Clinton were playing football with Florida. Both talked compromise. The difference was that Obama kept a much lower profile in the matter. That was from two people I know who were heavily involved her in the Obama campaign.

The fact is for good or ill the decision has been made.

I contend it was too harsh; the delegate strength should have been
cut in half; the credentials committee of the DNC Has that option.
they choose to deprive fl of all delegates.

They took that option with the blessings of Clinton.

fl is being used as a political football by both candidates;
floridians resent that and the november election will say that.

I am usually the first to codemn any candidate that ahs croissed the
line. Including Biden who is very good at blundering about, but how
has this been turned into a "football" by the Obama campaign? This was
of the Clintons making. The Clintons turned down every compromise. The
Clintons pushed the issue of Florida after a clear violation of the no
campaigning rule, then pushed again periodically in abeyance of the
very penalties that were set up to benifit her in the first place. I
am sick of the feeling we must include both candidates in statements
to appear unbiased. The fact is this lies at Hillary's door and now
she is complaining about the smell of poo after she filled the bag and
set it on fire.
