Re: [Dems2008] Re: OT: Puppy Mills

They sound delightful and I believe you wouldn't take a million
dollars for them.  I wouldn't either. My 14 year old is named
Nora and my 10 year old is Nikki. She is my kindred spirit
she came to live with me when she was 8 wks old and was
diagnosed with Addisons 2 1/2 years ago. She takes meds
for it and is doing great. Also living with us is Stanley
a 25 lb cat and Stella a normal size cat.  We also have
a blue Amazon parrot called Norman and assorted dogs
and cats at different times who are rescues looking for
permanent homes. Marv keeps me in check so we don't have
too many four legged friends staying over. LOL----Nan

Annie my original dog. Mostly rat terrier although mostly is pretty
relative. Resembles a Feist. Named after Annie Alexander. She did 800
miles of the Appalachian trail and helped me map all of Sipsey
wilderness. She probably has over 5000 miles of hiking under her
collar. She is about 13 now. And is retired and has become my partners
dog. She lays on the bed 23 1/2 hours a day. She has done that for the
last four years.

Maggie is around three. She was named after Maggie Kuhn and is
something like a Jack Russel Lhasa mix. She is hard headed,
disobedient, and lives to escape the confines.

Seriously could be offered a million dollars for either one, life
changing money, and I would say no. Especially Maggie. Not sure why.
But she is my baby.
