Re: [Dems2008] Re: Top 10 Myths keeping HRC in the race

I am not particularly partial to the Clintons and hope that she does not get the nomination.  In fact, I doubt that she can get the nomination without doing irreparable harm to the party unless she has a massive win in PA and additional wins in the remaining states.  Again, I think this is unlikely but not impossible.
However, as I have repeatedly stated, I will vote for the democratic nominee vs. John McCain.
As for an Obama-Clinton ticket, I do not expect to see this.  It would not be an advantageous ticket for Obama.
I believe that it is more likely that he will seek someone with military of foreign policy and/or executive experience.  I do not think this choice would be gender specific.  My guess is that the choice will be from a swing state, not a reliably blue or red state.

I know alot of you hate the Clintons, but what the pundits aren't
saying, which is becoming more apparent, is that both candidates'
supporters are so dug in that if Obama wins the nomination, which is
likely, he has to choose Hillary or vice versa. The pundits say we've
had contentious primaries before and everybody got in line when it was
over, but that was two white guys fighting for the nomination.
Everyone is so invested this time because of the historic nature of
the race and neither candidate can just pick somebody else and expect
to have an excited electorate behind them. They need to make nice,
let the popular vote determine the nominee in June and forget the
super delegates. That's just my humble opinion.
