Let me clarify...this young lady met Ricky at a club for sixteen to twenty year olds their website show pictures of kids who look under sixteen...she said she was almost sixteen an be sixteen in a few days...well I met her a short time later (few weeks) and she told me she was fourteen but please do not tell Ricky...I did and he told her he couldn't date her anymore plus he was signed to go into Navy an be way for a long time..she was mad but they remained friends...then months later he was questioned and told the cops the truth yes they had sex twice before he knew she was not sixteen but fourteen..the cops took his statement and then finally informed him an did she was only thirteen...we were shocked....my first thought was how the hell did she get in that club..its funny our states look at three years age difference as sexual abuse yet back in the day it was normal for girls of thirteen to be married.  I do think she should be held responsible for lying but again they were both simply kids.

I realize you are responding to a different question but in the situation like this, they are two KIDS.  this is not a case of molestation.  a 13 yr old girl telling a boyfriend she is 16 to a 16 year old kid.  this is for the parents to control not the courts.
